TalB-CcsDoc

Usage and Biology

We inserted a CcsDock (BBa_K2155004) behind our core enzyme TalB-Transaldolase B(Figure1). We ligated these two parts by using one-step cloning. With the dokerin, TalB can specially bind to scaffold protein and form a enzyme complex with BFD(Figure2). We have verified that the yeild of xylulose could be greatly improved when we use the scaffold protein to combine TalB and BFD.
